Who is your favorite EU author?

I think I'd have to choose Aaron Allston because he had some great humor, yet he knew his stuff.

Yes Aaron Allston is my overall favourite.

I also think that Troy Denning, James Luceno, RA Salvatore, and Alan Dean Foster are good authors. Micheal A Stackpole is good too, but I prefer his X-wing books to his NJO ones.

I'm only up to Hero's Trial plus one Young Jedi Knights book, but I'll go with Stackpole for now. Ruin was awesome, best one so far, and Onslaught wasn't half bad.

Then Stackpole and Alliston.

Least that lady who wrote Children of the Jedi, and the author of The Blackfleet. Probably because the beginning didn't interest me as much, and it's plot was pretty useless. Also, all the inaccuracy's.

I am tempted to say Salvatore for Killing Chewie...but Lucas gave him the green light... :cry:

Zahn without a doubt. Stackpole, Denning, Stover, Williams, Salvatore are good. I liked their novels. But Zahn just had more to contribute. He brought us Mara, Thrawn, Karrde. Plus I like his stories. Definately a good writer.

Yes he does. And I loved Allston's books (forgot to mention him in my previous post) but all around I would say Zahn. It's so hard to decide though. So many great authors. And then you have the OTHER side...
