The "Song Quote" Story

I was just talking to Pod and got a crazy idea (imagine that). I had the idea for a story that was just song quotes. So here's the rules for this story:

1. Every sentence must contain at least one song quote.

2. You can only post up to three sentences at once.

3. Have fun!

I'll start.

A old man was walking on the sun. While he was on his walk he ran into an old lady and said, "I do, cherish you."

The old lady replied, "It's the hardest thing I'll ever have to do."

"...to leave you." she said. "I might as well be walking on the sun."

the old man hung his head.

"But how do I live without you?" The man asked the woman.

"You can't" she said.

"Then." he replied "i'll keep you by my side with my superhuman Might."

The woman shook her head and ran away. "Why are you running away?" The man asked in astonshment.

She ran over and hugged another man and said "You stole the sun from my heart!"

The man continued "You've been struck by a smooth criminal."

The man begins to beg, "It's true the way I feel was promised by your face. The sound of your voice painted on my memories. Even if you're not with me, I'm with you."

She turned and looked at him saying, "Don't Speak. I know what you're thinking so please stop explaining."

The man began to weep. "but....I'm more than a bird, more than a plane. Nore than some pretty face beside a train."

"Actually....you're standing next to the train."

and he said "I'm a Thousand miles from nowhere."

The man who the woman is still hugging finally speaks up..."Well I would walk five hundred miles and I would walk five hundred more just to be the man who'd walk five thousand miles and fall down at your door."

The woman replied "Walk along with me."

A Priest who was passing by told them to "Walk in the Light of the Lord".

And the men said,looking down on his shoes:"These boots are made for walking and thats what they're gonna do."

She looked at the man. "You drive me crazy."

The man replied "What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me?"

Then a little boy walked up to the man and said, "Sir I wanna buy these shoes, for my mama please. It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size. Can you hurry sir, daddy said there's not much time, you see, she's been sick for such a long long time and I know these shoes would make her smile, and I want her to look beautiful, if Mama meets Jesus tonight."

"There's holes in the floor of heaven and her tears are pouring through." The doctor told the little boy later that night as the rain poured. The little boy stood beside the hospital bed and told the still form he knew as his mother, "God must have spent a little more time on you..."
